Our Programs

The Children’s Philanthropy is the only local organization dedicated to helping the families in need with students attending Rye City schools. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of programs and partnerships to serve our neighbors and help them to thrive in our community. Click through to learn more.

Food & Holiday Gift Program

During the school breaks when Rye City school children do not have access to hot meals at school, we provide Rye families in need with supermarket cards to help with groceries.

Rye Recreation Partnership

We have a longstanding partnership with Rye Recreation to co-sponsor the Halloween Window Painting event held in downtown Rye every October. Additionally, we provide funds for Rye Recreation’s summer camp scholarships. Rye Recreation provides a robust summer camp program for those aged 3 through Grade 8.

Rye High School Scholarship Program

Every year, we are proud to present scholarships to Rye High School seniors who demonstrate they have given their time and energy to volunteer and work with children in our community.

Family Portraits

Every year, against an autumn backdrop in Rye Town Park, we hold outdoor family photo shoots during weekends in October and November – a perfect way to get family photos for the holidays.
